Dharma Pages - A Southern Utah Buddhist Book Discussion Group

In addition to meditation, also beginning in June a once-monthly book discussion group will meet on Sunday's from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the studio (click here for flier).

Whether you consider yourself a practicing Buddhist or someone who is curious about Buddhism , this is the group for you! If you don't officially call yourself a 'Buddhist' that is perfectly OK. The ideas presented are in harmony with any faith. In this group we will discuss Buddhist-oriented books and/or texts, especially those that relate directly to challenges in our daily life. Participants should feel free to discuss other topics as well, such as lectures attended, retreat experiences, and tips for meditation and mindfulness. The purpose is to share ideas about what you think is important in life and how we can all use meditation principles to enrich our daily experience. Discussions will be facilitated by meditation instructor Todd Prince.

The first book to be reviewed will be Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth." The book can be ordered and purchased through Braun Books (435-586-8303), 27 North Main in Cedar City.
